Signing contract and delivering on agreed milestones

Sending a receipt for the grant cheque.

Acknowledging on all promotional material that this project is supported by Zero Waste New Zealand Trust and the Ministry for the Environment’s Sustainable Management Fund and/or Vodafone New Zealand Foundation.

Following project management and budget plans as outlined in the funding application.

Keeping sufficient project records and ensuring that a report is sent to Zero Waste New Zealand Trust six months after funding is granted (The Trust may also ask for independent evaluation of the use of the grant within one year of receipt of the funds).
The report will include:

Description of project, including successes/challenges

Outcomes of project (e.g. number of people employed, waste diverted from landfill, community and/or council involvement) relating to the outcomes agreed to in the application process

Ongoing activities and opportunities that have arisen as a result of the project
-
Suggestions for others doing similar projects
-
Financial breakdown of project and evidence of funding expenditure

Photographs, press releases or articles published as a result of your project and our funding

Zero Waste New Zealand Trust will not fund previous applicants who have not met their stated objectives in Trust-funded projects, have not complied with funding requirements, or who have not adequately completed a funding report.
