Kahurangi Employment Trust

Our community group is a charitable trust, established in 1997, which provides support and employment opportunities to people who are at a disadvantage in the job market. We provide a supportive team environment, and work to promote new enterprise and initiatives that create new jobs and new avenues for people to gain employment. We work closely with Work & Income, and with the Nelson City Council, and the work we provide is primarily aimed at positively contributing to the local community.

Current projects include: The Richmond Re-Use Shop, Tidy Town, Tree Planting, and the      Re-Finery Gallery and Studio Space.
