Reduce Your Rubbish Campaign

In April 2003, the Ministry for the Environment launched their three month 'Reduce Your Rubbish Campaign' aimed at educating the public through a series of TV, supermarket and bus shelter adverts as well as through local and regional Council programmes.

The message was simple - how to reduce waste to landfill.

The Reduce Your Rubbish website gives you an overview of the problems associated with not recycling your waste.

You can also find out about recycling services in your local area. www.reducerubbish.govt.nz .
