BioFilm (biodegradable bags)
BioFilm is the world’s largest brand of biodegradable and compostable bags and films made from the material, Mater-Bi.
All of BioFilm products are based on GMO free starch, vegetable oil and other renewable resources. No polyethylene is used in the production process. BioFilm products are fully international certified including BFA (Australia), CEN (Europe), BPI (USA), and BPS (Japan). BioFilm products, available in New Zealand, include;- BioFilm bags (8 to 60 litre): The bags breath so will not sweat or trap gasses, ideal for keeping fresh food fresh. Research shows a marked reduction in bacterial and fungal growth when using BioFilm.
- MaxAir (8 litre bag & MaxAir Bin): MaxAir is the worlds leading system for handling organic (kitchen, food) waste. Bin ventilation allows the highly breathable bag to dry the contents, minimising odor, moulds and flies while still an effective barrier against bacteria and viruses. Hygienic, no detergents or water needed for cleaning. The dried, and therefore reduced contents can be placed in a green waste collection system or home composted.
- Carry Bags (Checkout bags): promotion bags, carry bags, checkout and food bags comply with the food contact regulations. They are important points of difference for companies keen to portray an environmentally conscious image. Currently Out of Stock.
- Bio Doggy Bags: compostable and biodegradable bags, safe, hygienic and convenient to follow your dog. A hole in the top can be used for attaching to a dog lead or closing the bag after use.
 - Bio Toi (Bio Portable Toilet): a light weight portable toilet with disposable bag liners. Convenient, hygienic, no chemicals, no mess, no cleaning, and no smell. The bags can be buried or disposed of directly into any sewerage collection system; bags will also fit most other portable toilets.

Inquiries and Order
Please e-mail us at reception@zerowaste.co.nz with product name, quantity, and postal (delivery) address. We will then arrange the delivery and confirm the total cost. Payment: Direct Deposits are preferable. Cheques are also accepted. Sorry we can't accept payment by credit card.
