Zero Waste: Donate your old computers

The Ark is looking for more computer stock.

The Ark take the computers you have retired and give them a new lease of life by refurbishing and supplying them into schools and to students as well as a number of other projects. This is great as it not only allows more kids to get in front of computers, but it also keeps them out of our landfills!

The Ark particularly need relativly up to dates PCs with an existing drive, but will be very happy to hear from you whatever you have available.

Recycling of some the the components is free, especially if they are modern, please see the website for a schedule of fees. Don't think you have too few or too many computers/monitors/printers/etc, talk to them and see what can be done. They may even be able to promote the computer as being donated by you when it goes out to a school.
