Zero Waste: Global

GAIA (Global Alliance for Incinerator Alternatives) is an expanding international alliance of individuals and organisations working together to find and promote sustainable alternatives to incineration as a method of waste disposal.

The three workgroups are focussed on specific waste streams: municipal waste/ zero waste, hazardous waste and medical waste.
